The Lower Hardres and Nackington Gardeners' Society held a short presentation ceremony on Monday July 27th to mark the handing over of a cheque for £500 to Pilgrims Hospice representative. The society has been supporting local charities for a number of years and although it was not able to hold any horticultural shows this year the decision had already been taken to support Pilgrims Hospice. Also in attendance at a safe distance were committee members Graham and Maggie Brown, Rosemary Marshall, Marian Talbot, Dot Taylor and Lyn Cornelius.
