Rake up fallen leaves and pile them up to make valuable leaf mould - takes about 12 - 18 months

(You can make a simple cage with 4 chestnut stakes and chicken wire) 


Plant tulip and lily bulbs


Sow broad beans 


Plant new rhubarb or you can lift and divide your own


Tidy ponds and remove pumps for the winter
