Summer Show - this coming Saturday - latest update

The committee of the Lower Hardres and Nackington Gardening Society has been busy preparing for our Summer Show this coming Saturday starting at 2.00 pm in the village hall.

A reminder that the hall opens for exhibitors at 08.00 and closes at 10.00 to enable the judges to complete their hard work. Exhibitors may wish to note the suggestions below while arranging their exhibits.

At the show itself, in the light of the present Covid guidelines, we would encourage all visitors to consider wearing masks in the Main Hall whilst viewing the exhibits and to consider social distancing whilst inside. There may well be visitors who still feel vulnerable who would appreciate the extra precaution. The windows and fire doors inside the hall will be open to provide good air circulation. Hand sanitisers will be available should visitors want to use them.

Most of our stalls outside will be charging 50p or £1 so it would help with the handling of cash if you could bring plenty of those denominations!

The weather forecast is promising - not too hot and no rain - so we are all looking forward to a great day for the show.

Car Parking will be available on the right hand side inside the main gate to the Cricket Club. Please don't park in the entrance drive itself as there may well be a match scheduled. Thank you.
